February 4, 2012 - Chuck Kierum Fundraiser
The Atascosa Heat Chapter held a fundraiser for chapter member Chuck Kierum who has Stage 4 Cancer.
At the event chapters present were: Atascosa Heat, Graytown, San Antonio, West Houston, Caballo De Hierra and Chisholm Trail.
The event was
help at a local establishment named Long Branch. They were great hosts!
After a lot of hard work
from Atascosa Heat members, a $500.00 donation from the National Chapter
and a donation from the Chisholm Trail Chapter, a check was presented to Chuck on February 19th in the amount of $6740.00.
Way to go guys and gals!!

October 18, 2011 - Delhi Volunteer Fire Department
The Reguladores LEMC Chisholm Trail Chapter gave a donation of $500.00 to the
Delhi Volunteer Fire Department. This donation helped the Delhi VFD with their fuel
cost after several weeks of fighting the Bastrop Fires.

October 22, 2011 - Juvenile Diabetes Foundation
Our members took part in many ways at a charity for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
We had members enter and place in a Bar-B-Q cook off. Several members assisted with
working (including being the auctioneer) a live auction and supplying donations for the auction.
Our chapter was also able to donate a $250.00 to the JDF.
